Permanently temporary is forever

 Redoing one of those permanent field repairs.. OMM rain pants that got torn on whatever that got fixed with black duct tape and a bit of exped repair tape..

A lot of tape residue.. Wich is not all bad..

Keep all the loose flappy bits in place with some masking tape..

You should have one of these by now..

I think i bought a exped mixed patch kit and the rest is those you get when you by a tent/sleeping bag/air mattress 

I picked grey for the inside as backing..

Its like its not even there..

..And black for the patch. Much better than the "temporary" fix since its more flexible, the tape was quite stuff..

Cool beans, now my 15 year old rain pants can keep on trudging..
